This Sunburst Medallion Copper Kitchen Backsplash is designed for kitchens where the copper needs to continue beyond the main stove or range area. The center panel features a raised sunburst medallion behind the range, while the matching side extension panels continue the copper under the surrounding cabinets for a clean, finished wall.

It can be ordered as a complete copper kitchen backsplash with side extension panels, or the side panels can be ordered separately to extend an existing or new Natuross center panel.

Designed for Full Kitchen Backsplash Coverage

Some kitchens need more than one center panel behind the stove. The surrounding wall may also need copper coverage so the backsplash does not stop too soon or look disconnected.

This design solves that problem with a bold center focal panel and simpler matching side extensions. The side panels keep the full wall warm, balanced, and intentional while allowing the sunburst medallion to remain the main feature.

It is a strong choice for kitchen remodels, range hood walls, under-cabinet backsplash runs, stove walls, and projects where the backsplash should feel like one planned copper installation.

Handmade Real Copper

Each panel is handcrafted from real 24-gauge copper over a rigid composite backing. The finished panel is about 1/4 inch thick, lightweight, ready to install, and sealed with a protective finish for everyday kitchen use.

The sunburst medallion, raised border details, and hammered copper surface are shaped and finished by hand, giving the backsplash warmth, depth, and a custom architectural look.

Place your order, enter your dimensions, and choose a finish. Add any notes at checkout — personalization, cutouts, text, or a completely new custom design. Custom design is included at no extra charge.

Step 1 — Digital preview: We send a preview of your panel for approval before anything is made. Production begins only after your written confirmation.

Step 2 — Production: Your panel is hand-hammered to your exact specifications. Approximately 3 weeks.

Step 3 — Pre-shipping photos: Once complete, we send photos of the finished panel. Shipping takes place only after your approval. Adjustments can still be made at this stage.

Step 4 — Delivery: Ships via FedEx with tracking. Delivered to your door within one month from order date.

Material & Specs

Every Natuross® panel is real copper or brass — 24 gauge, hand-hammered, mounted over a rigid aluminum composite backing. Approximately ¼ inch (6mm) thick, flush to the wall. Weight: approximately 2.1 lb per square foot.

Sealed with a professional-grade UV-resistant lacquer — water, heat, and grease resistant. Suitable for kitchens, bathrooms, wet areas, fireplaces, and outdoor installations. No maintenance ever required.

Installation & Care

Installation — three methods:

Adhesive — stick directly over existing tile, drywall, wood, or stone using any standard construction adhesive. Most popular method. Most customers install in under an hour.
Screw mount — for large, heavy, or outdoor panels. Ships with screws and decorative caps included.
Hanging wire — for wall art, signs, and removable installations.

For multi-piece panels: install the central piece first, borders second.

Care:

Wipe with a soft damp cloth. For grease or cooking splashes, warm water and mild dish soap. No polishing, waxing, or re-sealing — ever. The finish you receive is the finish it keeps.
