Scottish Thistle copper kitchen backsplash behind the stove, hand-hammered brown copper relief. One large thistle centered, two smaller thistles flanking it, all connected by sweeping scrollwork and leaves in a symmetrical heraldic composition. Deep rich brown-copper patina throughout — fully tonal, the design reading through depth and shadow. Every scroll, spine, and petal raised by hand.

Installation

Adhesive Mount

Install over clean, dry, secure tile, drywall, wood, or other suitable wall surfaces using a heavy-duty construction adhesive or a suitable silicone adhesive.

Apply adhesive to the back of the panel. No drilling through the panel is needed. Follow the adhesive’s support and curing instructions.

Other Mounting Options

Where offered, choose prepared screw holes with decorative caps or hanging wire for indoor decorative display.

Care & Cleaning

Clean gently with a soft cloth, warm water, and a little mild dish soap when needed. Remove soap residue and dry.

Your piece arrives with a protective clear finish. Avoid copper polish, abrasive pads, and harsh cleaners.

The finish is not permanent; its lifespan depends on use and exposure, and it may eventually need renewal.
