This is a handcrafted copper wall panel, made to your size. 24-gauge copper, hand-hammered on an anvil, wrapped over a rigid backing. The finish is applied and sealed with a clear protective coating — easy to clean, color stays true. Heat and moisture resistant. Ready to install behind the stove, under the range hood, or over the sink.

The porcupine moves in natural side profile across the forest floor, one front paw slightly raised. Hundreds of individually rendered quills radiate outward from the body — each one raised separately from the copper surface, creating a texture unlike anything else in this catalog. The layered quills form a dramatic silhouette that catches and scatters light as it moves across the panel. Pine branches frame the composition from both sides. Pine cones and fallen needles rest along the ground beneath the animal. Small grasses and woodland vegetation fill the scene without crowding it. Every detail worked by hand, using chasing and repoussé — a craft practiced for over 5,000 years. Not printed, not stamped, not laser engraved, not cast. Order Process

Place your order, enter your dimensions, and choose a finish. Add any notes at checkout — personalization, cutouts, text, or a completely new custom design. Custom design is included at no extra charge.

Step 1 — Digital preview: We send a preview of your panel for approval before anything is made. Production begins only after your written confirmation.

Step 2 — Production: Your panel is hand-hammered to your exact specifications. Approximately 3 weeks.

Step 3 — Pre-shipping photos: Once complete, we send photos of the finished panel. Shipping takes place only after your approval. Adjustments can still be made at this stage.

Step 4 — Delivery: Ships via FedEx with tracking. Delivered to your door within one month from order date.

Material & Specs

Every Natuross® panel is real copper or brass — 24 gauge, hand-hammered, mounted over a rigid aluminum composite backing. Approximately ¼ inch (6mm) thick, flush to the wall. Weight: approximately 2.1 lb per square foot.

Sealed with a professional-grade UV-resistant lacquer — water, heat, and grease resistant. Suitable for kitchens, bathrooms, wet areas, fireplaces, and outdoor installations. No maintenance ever required.

Installation & Care

Installation — three methods:

Adhesive — stick directly over existing tile, drywall, wood, or stone using any standard construction adhesive. Most popular method. Most customers install in under an hour.
Screw mount — for large, heavy, or outdoor panels. Ships with screws and decorative caps included.
Hanging wire — for wall art, signs, and removable installations.

For multi-piece panels: install the central piece first, borders second.

Care:

Wipe with a soft damp cloth. For grease or cooking splashes, warm water and mild dish soap. No polishing, waxing, or re-sealing — ever. The finish you receive is the finish it keeps.
