Formed from 24-gauge real copper and wrapped over a rigid backing, each panel is individually handcrafted using traditional metalworking techniques. The finished piece is approximately 1/4" thick, similar to wall tile, yet lightweight enough for straightforward installation.

The composition features a large iguana stretched across a weathered tree branch, surrounded by broad monstera leaves and tropical foliage. Every aspect of the reptile's anatomy has been carefully interpreted in copper, from the distinctive crest along its back and neck to the textured scales, muscular limbs, alert eyes, and sweeping tail that guides the eye across the artwork. The surrounding leaves frame the subject naturally, creating balance while reinforcing the lush rainforest setting.

Rather than relying on busy scenery, the design focuses on texture, form, and presence. The contrast between the iguana's intricate scales and the smooth flowing curves of the leaves creates a visually rich composition that feels sophisticated and intentional.

Step 1 — Digital preview: We send a preview of your panel for approval before anything is made. Production begins only after your written confirmation.

Step 2 — Production: Your panel is hand-hammered to your exact specifications. Approximately 3 weeks.

Step 3 — Pre-shipping photos: Once complete, we send photos of the finished panel. Shipping takes place only after your approval. Adjustments can still be made at this stage.

Step 4 — Delivery: Ships via FedEx with tracking. Delivered to your door within one month from order date.

Material & Specs

Every Natuross® panel is real copper or brass — 24 gauge, hand-hammered, mounted over a rigid aluminum composite backing. Approximately ¼ inch (6mm) thick, flush to the wall. Weight: approximately 2.1 lb per square foot.

Sealed with a professional-grade UV-resistant lacquer — water, heat, and grease resistant. Suitable for kitchens, bathrooms, wet areas, fireplaces, and outdoor installations. No maintenance ever required.

Installation & Care

Installation — three methods:

Adhesive — stick directly over existing tile, drywall, wood, or stone using any standard construction adhesive. Most popular method. Most customers install in under an hour.
Screw mount — for large, heavy, or outdoor panels. Ships with screws and decorative caps included.
Hanging wire — for wall art, signs, and removable installations.

For multi-piece panels: install the central piece first, borders second.

Care:

Wipe with a soft damp cloth. For grease or cooking splashes, warm water and mild dish soap. No polishing, waxing, or re-sealing — ever. The finish you receive is the finish it keeps.
