Each panel is handcrafted from real 24-gauge copper and individually hand-hammered and hand-formed by Natuross artisans. The raised relief highlights the sleek form of the dolphin while the hammered copper background catches light throughout the day, creating warmth, depth, and constantly changing reflections. The copper is wrapped over a rigid backing, producing a lightweight yet durable panel approximately 1/4 inch thick, similar to standard wall tile.

Designed specifically for use behind stoves, this backsplash combines practical durability with timeless nautical artwork. The sealed finish helps protect the copper while making everyday cleaning simple. Custom sizes, outlet cutouts, pot filler cutouts, and personalized modifications are available.

For larger installations, this design can be expanded into a full marine-themed backsplash featuring additional dolphins, waves, sea turtles, coral reefs, tropical fish, sailboats, lighthouses, or other coastal elements designed specifically for your space.

Place your order, enter your dimensions, and choose a finish. Add any notes at checkout — personalization, cutouts, text, or a completely new custom design. Custom design is included at no extra charge.

Step 1 — Digital preview: We send a preview of your panel for approval before anything is made. Production begins only after your written confirmation.

Step 2 — Production: Your panel is hand-hammered to your exact specifications. Approximately 3 weeks.

Step 3 — Pre-shipping photos: Once complete, we send photos of the finished panel. Shipping takes place only after your approval. Adjustments can still be made at this stage.

Step 4 — Delivery: Ships via FedEx with tracking. Delivered to your door within one month from order date.

Material & Specs

Every Natuross® panel is real copper or brass — 24 gauge, hand-hammered, mounted over a rigid aluminum composite backing. Approximately ¼ inch (6mm) thick, flush to the wall. Weight: approximately 2.1 lb per square foot.

Sealed with a professional-grade UV-resistant lacquer — water, heat, and grease resistant. Suitable for kitchens, bathrooms, wet areas, fireplaces, and outdoor installations. No maintenance ever required.

Installation & Care

Installation — three methods:

Adhesive — stick directly over existing tile, drywall, wood, or stone using any standard construction adhesive. Most popular method. Most customers install in under an hour.
Screw mount — for large, heavy, or outdoor panels. Ships with screws and decorative caps included.
Hanging wire — for wall art, signs, and removable installations.

For multi-piece panels: install the central piece first, borders second.

Care:

Wipe with a soft damp cloth. For grease or cooking splashes, warm water and mild dish soap. No polishing, waxing, or re-sealing — ever. The finish you receive is the finish it keeps.
