A sturdy badger moves beneath a network of exposed roots, surrounded by ferns, grasses, and woodland textures. Handcrafted from real 24-gauge copper, each backsplash is individually hand-hammered and hand-formed by Natuross artisans. The copper is wrapped over a rigid backing, creating a lightweight yet durable panel approximately 1/4 inch thick, similar to wall tile. The raised relief catches natural and artificial light beautifully, bringing depth and movement to the woodland scene throughout the day.

For larger kitchens, it can also become the centerpiece of a full-wall kitchen backsplash, with matching side panels extending the woodland setting through additional roots, ferns, forest plants, and natural textures. The side panels are designed to support the scene quietly while keeping the badger as the central focal point.

Step 1 — Digital preview: We send a preview of your panel for approval before anything is made. Production begins only after your written confirmation.

Step 2 — Production: Your panel is hand-hammered to your exact specifications. Approximately 3 weeks.

Step 3 — Pre-shipping photos: Once complete, we send photos of the finished panel. Shipping takes place only after your approval. Adjustments can still be made at this stage.

Step 4 — Delivery: Ships via FedEx with tracking. Delivered to your door within one month from order date.

Material & Specs

Every Natuross® panel is real copper or brass — 24 gauge, hand-hammered, mounted over a rigid aluminum composite backing. Approximately ¼ inch (6mm) thick, flush to the wall. Weight: approximately 2.1 lb per square foot.

Sealed with a professional-grade UV-resistant lacquer — water, heat, and grease resistant. Suitable for kitchens, bathrooms, wet areas, fireplaces, and outdoor installations. No maintenance ever required.

Installation & Care

Installation — three methods:

Adhesive — stick directly over existing tile, drywall, wood, or stone using any standard construction adhesive. Most popular method. Most customers install in under an hour.
Screw mount — for large, heavy, or outdoor panels. Ships with screws and decorative caps included.
Hanging wire — for wall art, signs, and removable installations.

For multi-piece panels: install the central piece first, borders second.

Care:

Wipe with a soft damp cloth. For grease or cooking splashes, warm water and mild dish soap. No polishing, waxing, or re-sealing — ever. The finish you receive is the finish it keeps.
