How Much Does a Copper Backsplash Cost?
IBRAHIM GULSUNShare
The most common question before placing an order is a simple one: how much does a copper backsplash actually cost? The answer is straightforward — pricing is based on size only, everything is included in the price, and there are no hidden fees.
Natuross has been making hand-hammered copper panels for over five years. Every panel is designed and made by Ibrahim, one at a time, in a real workshop. Thousands of panels have been installed in kitchens across the United States. Here is a complete breakdown of how pricing works.
Pricing Is Based on Size Only
Every Natuross copper backsplash is priced by square inch. The design you choose does not affect the price. A Rooster Copper Backsplash at 36×24 inches costs exactly the same as a Compass Rose Backsplash at the same size. A fully custom design built around your specific request costs the same as a standard catalogue design at the same dimensions.
The finish you choose does not affect the price either. Natural Copper, Silver–Copper, Black Copper, Antique Gold — all fifteen finishes are priced identically at any given size.
Price Reference by Size
These are the actual prices for every standard size. Your wall dimensions determine your price — if your size is not listed, send your measurements and a price will be calculated at the same per-square-inch rate.

What Is Included in the Price
Every Natuross order is all-inclusive. There are no separate charges for any of the following:
- Custom design work — whether you choose a catalogue design or request something completely original, design is included
- Digital mockup — a preview showing your design at your exact dimensions in your chosen finish, placed into a photograph of your kitchen where possible
- Design revisions — changes to the mockup before production begins cost nothing
- Any of the 15 finishes — Natural Copper, Silver–Copper, Black Copper, Antique Gold, and all others are the same price
- Personalization — adding a family name, a date, a quote, or custom text does not add to the cost
- Workshop photography — high-resolution photographs of the finished panel are taken and sent before shipping
- Shipping across the United States — all prices are all-inclusive with no separate shipping charge
Nothing goes into production until you have seen and approved a digital mockup of your exact panel. If you want to see what your backsplash will look like before committing to an order, send a photograph of your kitchen via the contact page or live chat — a mockup is prepared at no cost and with no obligation.
What Is Not Included
There is one thing not included: installation. Copper panels are straightforward to install — most customers do it themselves using construction adhesive, screws, or standoff mounts — but if you prefer to hire a handyman or contractor, that cost is separate. Full installation instructions are available on the Installation Guide page.
How Copper Backsplash Pricing Compares to Tile
A standard ceramic tile backsplash for a typical stove wall (36×24 inches) costs roughly $200–$400 in materials, plus $300–$600 in professional installation labor, plus grout, adhesive, and trim — bringing the total to $500–$1,000 or more for a standard installation. That tile will need regrouting every 3–5 years in a stove area, at additional cost each time.
A Natuross copper panel at the same 36×24 inch size costs $1,188 — all-inclusive, no installation labor required for most homeowners, no grout lines to maintain, and no regrouting ever. Over a 20-year period, the total cost of ownership is comparable. The difference is that the copper panel looks better every year, while tile grout deteriorates.

To give you a practical reference point, here are the most common stove wall configurations and what they cost:

- 36-inch range, taller (36×30 inches) — $1,469

How to Get an Exact Price for Your Wall
The simplest way is to measure your wall — width first, then height — and find the closest size in the table above. If your size is not listed, send your measurements and a price will be provided within a few hours.
If you are not ready to measure yet, send a photograph of your kitchen. Ibrahim will estimate the dimensions from the photograph, suggest the right size, and send a digital mockup showing the panel in your space — with the price confirmed — before you commit to anything.
