Copper & Acoustics
Copper panels are rigid and non-porous — acoustically reflective rather than absorptive. They work best on surfaces that are not primary acoustic treatment surfaces: the feature wall behind the mixing desk, the wall visible through the control room window, the studio entrance wall, the surfaces between acoustic treatment panels. Copper panels do not replace acoustic foam, diffusers, or bass traps — but they coexist with them naturally, creating a designed alternation of absorptive and reflective surfaces that is both acoustically considered and visually striking.
