This copper tall kitchen backsplash is made for kitchen areas where a standard low backsplash does not give enough visual coverage. It works behind range hoods, open shelves, sink walls, appliance areas, coffee stations, pantry counters, cabinet openings, and feature walls where handmade copper should rise higher on the wall.

Taller backsplash spaces often become the most noticeable part of the kitchen. A plain wall below a hood, between shelves, or inside a cabinet-framed opening can feel unfinished. Real hammered copper brings warmth, texture, and a custom focal point that makes the vertical space feel intentional.

Common tall backsplash layouts include a panel below a range hood, a taller wall behind open shelves, a sink or prep wall without upper cabinets, a coffee or beverage area with extra wall height, and a built-in kitchen opening that needs a finished back panel. Some spaces need one tall focal panel, while wider areas may need a tall center panel with shorter or matching side panels.

Choose 30"H for a taller feature above a counter, 36"H for open walls, hood areas, and shelf spaces, and 42"H for larger built-in or open-wall features. Widths from 30" to 60" cover many stove, sink, shelf, coffee, and appliance wall layouts. If your wall is wider or has cabinets, windows, shelves, or appliances around it, we can adjust the panel layout to fit your measurements.

If your tall kitchen backsplash area has outlets, switches, faucets, pot fillers, shelf brackets, hood details, window trim, cabinet edges, appliance clearances, or uneven wall sections, cutouts and layout adjustments are available. If your exact size is not listed, message your measurements and we can add your exact panel size as a new order option.

Step 1 — Digital preview: We send a preview of your panel for approval before anything is made. Production begins only after your written confirmation.

Step 2 — Production: Your panel is hand-hammered to your exact specifications. Approximately 3 weeks.

Step 3 — Pre-shipping photos: Once complete, we send photos of the finished panel. Shipping takes place only after your approval. Adjustments can still be made at this stage.

Step 4 — Delivery: Ships via FedEx with tracking. Delivered to your door within one month from order date.

Material & Specs

Every Natuross® panel is real copper or brass — 24 gauge, hand-hammered, mounted over a rigid aluminum composite backing. Approximately ¼ inch (6mm) thick, flush to the wall. Weight: approximately 2.1 lb per square foot.

Sealed with a professional-grade UV-resistant lacquer — water, heat, and grease resistant. Suitable for kitchens, bathrooms, wet areas, fireplaces, and outdoor installations. No maintenance ever required.

Installation & Care

Installation — three methods:

  • Adhesive — stick directly over existing tile, drywall, wood, or stone using any standard construction adhesive. Most popular method. Most customers install in under an hour.
  • Screw mount — for large, heavy, or outdoor panels. Ships with screws and decorative caps included.
  • Hanging wire — for wall art, signs, and removable installations.

For multi-piece panels: install the central piece first, borders second.

Care:

Wipe with a soft damp cloth. For grease or cooking splashes, warm water and mild dish soap. No polishing, waxing, or re-sealing — ever. The finish you receive is the finish it keeps.
