This copper sloped-ceiling kitchen backsplash is made for kitchens where the wall above the counter, sink, range, or shelves rises into an angled ceiling line. It works for sloped ceilings, vaulted kitchen walls, attic-style kitchens, open walls, no-upper-cabinet layouts, range hood walls, and tall feature areas where a standard short backsplash would not feel complete.

A sloped ceiling can make the kitchen wall beautiful, but it also makes the backsplash harder to plan. The top edge may meet an angled ceiling, a hood, open shelves, a window, or an uneven wall line. Handmade copper can bring warmth and structure to that open space while still being made to fit the real shape of the kitchen.

For sloped-ceiling kitchens, the main artwork or center feature should stay visually intact whenever possible. Larger layouts can be made as a coordinated multi-panel set, with the main feature in the center and matching side, top, or border panels added around it. The exact panel layout is confirmed with your measurements before production.

Choose a single feature panel when the wall area fits a standard rectangular space. For larger or taller angled-wall areas, choose a multi-panel set or custom layout. If your ceiling slopes, please send the rough width, height at the left side, height at the right side, and any hood, shelf, window, outlet, or appliance details. We can add your exact sloped-ceiling layout as a new order option.

Cutouts and layout adjustments are available for outlets, switches, faucets, pot fillers, shelf brackets, window trim, hood details, appliance clearances, cabinet edges, and angled ceiling lines. We can also adjust panel proportions and seam placement so the copper fits cleanly with the architecture of your kitchen.

You can order the design shown in the product photos or request a new custom design. Custom design is free. Message your measurements with an image, inspiration link, or idea. We create a digital preview and send an order link before production.

Place your order, enter your dimensions, and choose a finish. Add any notes at checkout — personalization, cutouts, text, or a completely new custom design. Custom design is included at no extra charge.

Step 1 — Digital preview: We send a preview of your panel for approval before anything is made. Production begins only after your written confirmation.

Step 2 — Production: Your panel is hand-hammered to your exact specifications. Approximately 3 weeks.

Step 3 — Pre-shipping photos: Once complete, we send photos of the finished panel. Shipping takes place only after your approval. Adjustments can still be made at this stage.

Step 4 — Delivery: Ships via FedEx with tracking. Delivered to your door within one month from order date.

Material & Specs

Every Natuross® panel is real copper or brass — 24 gauge, hand-hammered, mounted over a rigid aluminum composite backing. Approximately ¼ inch (6mm) thick, flush to the wall. Weight: approximately 2.1 lb per square foot.

Sealed with a professional-grade UV-resistant lacquer — water, heat, and grease resistant. Suitable for kitchens, bathrooms, wet areas, fireplaces, and outdoor installations. No maintenance ever required.

Installation & Care

Installation — three methods:

  • Adhesive — stick directly over existing tile, drywall, wood, or stone using any standard construction adhesive. Most popular method. Most customers install in under an hour.
  • Screw mount — for large, heavy, or outdoor panels. Ships with screws and decorative caps included.
  • Hanging wire — for wall art, signs, and removable installations.

For multi-piece panels: install the central piece first, borders second.

Care:

Wipe with a soft damp cloth. For grease or cooking splashes, warm water and mild dish soap. No polishing, waxing, or re-sealing — ever. The finish you receive is the finish it keeps.
