This copper sink backsplash is made for the wall behind a kitchen, bathroom, laundry, bar, or utility sink. It gives the sink area a finished real-copper surface while adding a handmade focal detail to a space that often needs both protection and character.

Sink backsplashes are usually planned around the sink width, vanity width, cabinet width, or open wall space above the counter. A 24"W or 30"W size works well behind many single sinks. A 36"W or 42"W size gives wider coverage behind larger sinks or vanities. A 48"W, 60"W, or 72"W size works well for double sinks, laundry sinks, bar areas, or longer counter runs.

The height depends on how much wall you want to cover. A 6"H or 8"H backsplash works for a low protective area. A 12"H or 18"H panel gives more visible copper behind the sink. A 24"H or 30"H panel creates a stronger wall feature, especially above a vanity, laundry sink, or open counter area.

For wider sink walls, a 3-piece left-center-right layout can keep the main sink area centered while extending the copper across the wall. If your exact size is not listed, message your measurements and we can add your exact size or layout as a new order option.

Cutouts for outlets, switches, faucets, plumbing details, or other wall features are available by request. Choose your size, finish, and installation method, and we prepare the copper backsplash according to your selections.

Step 2 — Production: Your panel is hand-hammered to your exact specifications. Approximately 3 weeks.

Step 3 — Pre-shipping photos: Once complete, we send photos of the finished panel. Shipping takes place only after your approval. Adjustments can still be made at this stage.

Step 4 — Delivery: Ships via FedEx with tracking. Delivered to your door within one month from order date.

Material & Specs

Every Natuross® panel is real copper or brass — 24 gauge, hand-hammered, mounted over a rigid aluminum composite backing. Approximately ¼ inch (6mm) thick, flush to the wall. Weight: approximately 2.1 lb per square foot.

Sealed with a professional-grade UV-resistant lacquer — water, heat, and grease resistant. Suitable for kitchens, bathrooms, wet areas, fireplaces, and outdoor installations. No maintenance ever required.

Installation & Care

Installation — three methods:

  • Adhesive — stick directly over existing tile, drywall, wood, or stone using any standard construction adhesive. Most popular method. Most customers install in under an hour.
  • Screw mount — for large, heavy, or outdoor panels. Ships with screws and decorative caps included.
  • Hanging wire — for wall art, signs, and removable installations.

For multi-piece panels: install the central piece first, borders second.

Care:

Wipe with a soft damp cloth. For grease or cooking splashes, warm water and mild dish soap. No polishing, waxing, or re-sealing — ever. The finish you receive is the finish it keeps.
