This copper microwave above stove backsplash is made for the shorter wall space between a stove, range, or cooktop and an over-the-range microwave. It is a good choice when you want the area behind the stove to feel warmer and more finished, but there is not enough height for a tall range hood backsplash.

An over-the-range microwave is practical, but it can make the cooking area look ordinary. A hand-hammered copper backsplash brings character to that small visible space, turning the wall below the microwave into a warm custom focal point instead of plain tile, paint, or a standard metal insert.

Each Natuross backsplash is handmade from real copper and made to order for your kitchen. It is not a factory sheet or thin decorative cover. Your size, finish, and design can be chosen to fit the space below your microwave, so the stove area feels personal, rare, and intentionally designed.

Choose a width close to your stove or microwave opening. The 18"H options work well for many common spaces below an over-the-range microwave. The 24"H options give more coverage when the microwave is mounted higher or the visible wall space is taller. If your exact space is different, message your width and height and we can add your exact size as a new order option with the correct price.

Cutouts and layout adjustments are available for outlets, switches, cabinet edges, trim, appliance clearances, and uneven wall sections. We create a digital preview for your approval before production begins, so the design, size, and details are confirmed before we make it.

You can order the design shown in the product photos or request a new custom design. Custom design is free. The price is all-inclusive. It will be delivered to your door about a month after ordering.

Place your order, enter your dimensions, and choose a finish. Add any notes at checkout — personalization, cutouts, text, or a completely new custom design. Custom design is included at no extra charge.

Step 1 — Digital preview: We send a preview of your panel for approval before anything is made. Production begins only after your written confirmation.

Step 2 — Production: Your panel is hand-hammered to your exact specifications. Approximately 3 weeks.

Step 3 — Pre-shipping photos: Once complete, we send photos of the finished panel. Shipping takes place only after your approval. Adjustments can still be made at this stage.

Step 4 — Delivery: Ships via FedEx with tracking. Delivered to your door within one month from order date.

Material & Specs

Every Natuross® panel is real copper or brass — 24 gauge, hand-hammered, mounted over a rigid aluminum composite backing. Approximately ¼ inch (6mm) thick, flush to the wall. Weight: approximately 2.1 lb per square foot.

Sealed with a professional-grade UV-resistant lacquer — water, heat, and grease resistant. Suitable for kitchens, bathrooms, wet areas, fireplaces, and outdoor installations. No maintenance ever required.

Installation & Care

Installation — three methods:

  • Adhesive — stick directly over existing tile, drywall, wood, or stone using any standard construction adhesive. Most popular method. Most customers install in under an hour.
  • Screw mount — for large, heavy, or outdoor panels. Ships with screws and decorative caps included.
  • Hanging wire — for wall art, signs, and removable installations.

For multi-piece panels: install the central piece first, borders second.

Care:

Wipe with a soft damp cloth. For grease or cooking splashes, warm water and mild dish soap. No polishing, waxing, or re-sealing — ever. The finish you receive is the finish it keeps.
