This copper long counter wall backsplash is made for kitchens with an extended countertop run that needs more than a small accent panel. It works behind prep counters, sink counters, appliance counters, coffee areas, open shelves, and long work surfaces where handmade copper can make the whole counter wall feel warmer and more complete.

A long counter wall is often one of the most visible working areas in a kitchen. It may hold small appliances, a sink, a coffee maker, cutting boards, serving pieces, open shelves, or everyday prep space. A handmade copper backsplash brings texture and warmth across that working wall, turning a practical counter run into a more finished part of the room.

Many long counter walls are not perfectly empty. They may include outlets, cabinet breaks, shelf brackets, window trim, faucet details, appliance clearances, or a change in counter use from one side to the other. The copper can be arranged in balanced panels or planned around the most important part of the counter, such as a sink, prep area, or coffee station.

Choose 72" or 96" total width for a long counter section, 120" for an extended work wall, and 144" or 168" for larger counter runs. An 18"H layout works well under upper cabinets. A 24"H layout gives more visible copper under open shelves, taller cabinet gaps, sink counters, and feature-wall areas.

Cutouts and layout adjustments are available for outlets, switches, faucets, plumbing details, window trim, shelf brackets, cabinet edges, appliance clearances, and uneven wall sections. If your exact counter wall length is not listed, message your measurements and we can add your exact layout as a new order option.

Step 1 — Digital preview: We send a preview of your panel for approval before anything is made. Production begins only after your written confirmation.

Step 2 — Production: Your panel is hand-hammered to your exact specifications. Approximately 3 weeks.

Step 3 — Pre-shipping photos: Once complete, we send photos of the finished panel. Shipping takes place only after your approval. Adjustments can still be made at this stage.

Step 4 — Delivery: Ships via FedEx with tracking. Delivered to your door within one month from order date.

Material & Specs

Every Natuross® panel is real copper or brass — 24 gauge, hand-hammered, mounted over a rigid aluminum composite backing. Approximately ¼ inch (6mm) thick, flush to the wall. Weight: approximately 2.1 lb per square foot.

Sealed with a professional-grade UV-resistant lacquer — water, heat, and grease resistant. Suitable for kitchens, bathrooms, wet areas, fireplaces, and outdoor installations. No maintenance ever required.

Installation & Care

Installation — three methods:

  • Adhesive — stick directly over existing tile, drywall, wood, or stone using any standard construction adhesive. Most popular method. Most customers install in under an hour.
  • Screw mount — for large, heavy, or outdoor panels. Ships with screws and decorative caps included.
  • Hanging wire — for wall art, signs, and removable installations.

For multi-piece panels: install the central piece first, borders second.

Care:

Wipe with a soft damp cloth. For grease or cooking splashes, warm water and mild dish soap. No polishing, waxing, or re-sealing — ever. The finish you receive is the finish it keeps.
