This copper counter wall backsplash is made for the working wall above a kitchen counter. It works behind prep counters, sink counters, appliance areas, coffee stations, open shelves, pantry counters, and everyday countertop spaces where handmade copper can make the wall feel warmer and more finished.

A counter wall is one of the most used parts of a kitchen. It may hold a coffee maker, mixer, toaster, cutting boards, serving pieces, a sink, small appliances, or a long prep area. A real copper backsplash adds texture and warmth behind that daily-use space while giving the counter area a more custom look.

Some counter walls need one focused copper panel behind the main work area. Others look better with wider coverage under the cabinets or across the full counter run. The layout can stay simple, or it can be centered around a sink, appliance area, coffee station, open shelf, or prep zone.

Choose 36" or 48" widths for focused counter areas, 60" or 72" for wider counter walls, and 96" or larger multi-panel options for longer runs. An 18"H panel fits many standard under-cabinet spaces. A 24"H panel gives more visible copper under open shelves, taller cabinet gaps, sink counters, and feature areas.

Cutouts and layout adjustments are available for outlets, switches, faucets, plumbing details, shelf brackets, window trim, cabinet edges, appliance clearances, and uneven wall sections. If your exact counter wall size is not listed, message your measurements and we can add your exact layout as a new order option.

Step 1 — Digital preview: We send a preview of your panel for approval before anything is made. Production begins only after your written confirmation.

Step 2 — Production: Your panel is hand-hammered to your exact specifications. Approximately 3 weeks.

Step 3 — Pre-shipping photos: Once complete, we send photos of the finished panel. Shipping takes place only after your approval. Adjustments can still be made at this stage.

Step 4 — Delivery: Ships via FedEx with tracking. Delivered to your door within one month from order date.

Material & Specs

Every Natuross® panel is real copper or brass — 24 gauge, hand-hammered, mounted over a rigid aluminum composite backing. Approximately ¼ inch (6mm) thick, flush to the wall. Weight: approximately 2.1 lb per square foot.

Sealed with a professional-grade UV-resistant lacquer — water, heat, and grease resistant. Suitable for kitchens, bathrooms, wet areas, fireplaces, and outdoor installations. No maintenance ever required.

Installation & Care

Installation — three methods:

  • Adhesive — stick directly over existing tile, drywall, wood, or stone using any standard construction adhesive. Most popular method. Most customers install in under an hour.
  • Screw mount — for large, heavy, or outdoor panels. Ships with screws and decorative caps included.
  • Hanging wire — for wall art, signs, and removable installations.

For multi-piece panels: install the central piece first, borders second.

Care:

Wipe with a soft damp cloth. For grease or cooking splashes, warm water and mild dish soap. No polishing, waxing, or re-sealing — ever. The finish you receive is the finish it keeps.
