2. Hand-Hammering: Using various chisels and my anvil, I meticulously hand-hammer the design and background texture, bringing out the intricate details of your chosen pattern.
3. Annealing: To ensure the copper is malleable and easier to shape, I anneal the piece multiple times during the crafting process.
4. Color Finishing: Based on your selection, I perform a meticulous patina process to achieve a beautifully aged look or apply clear gloss lacquer.
5. Attaching the Copper Sheet to Backing: The finished copper artwork is carefully wrapped around an aluminum backing and secured with a wooden mallet to ensure durability and stability.
6. Lacquering: Finally, I apply several thin layers of clear glossy lacquer to protect the artwork.

You will get your backsplash ready to mount for your mounting choice:
- TILE: You can tile the backsplash like regular ceramic wall tiles using any standard tile adhesive available at your local hardware store. The perforated aluminum composite backing I design enhances adhesion, ensuring a secure fit to your wall.
- HANG: I can fit the backsplash with sawtooth hangers on the back, allowing you to hang it with screws or nails.
- STICK: I can include double-sided mounting tapes in the shipping box. For added safety and durability, I also recommend using liquid nails.
- SCREW: I can drill four screw holes near the corners of the backsplash. Screws and screw caps are included. The screw cap color will match your artwork.

Your backsplash is ready to mount over your stove. You don't need to seal it. I already finished the work with a protective coating layer.
Clean with soapy water and soft clothes. Do not use abrasive sponges or harsh chemicals.
