Panel Specifications

Every Natuross® panel is real copper or brass, hand-hammered and mounted over a rigid lightweight backing.

  • Thickness: ¼ inch (6mm) — mounts flush to the wall, similar to a ceramic tile
  • Weight: ~2.1 lb/ft² — a 36×30" panel weighs ~16 lb, a 48×36" ~25 lb, a 60×38" ~33 lb. Easy for one person to handle.
  • Finish: Sealed with a professional-grade UV-resistant lacquer — water, heat, grease, and fingerprint resistant
  • Suitable for: Indoor, outdoor, kitchens, bathrooms, fireplaces, and high-humidity areas

Installation Methods

1. Adhesive Mount — Most Popular

Adhesive mount installation

The easiest option and how most customers install their panels. Stick directly over existing tiles, drywall, wood, stone, or metal using any standard construction adhesive — Liquid Nails, silicone, or MS-polymer all work. No special products needed. For new walls, panels can also be set with thinset just like regular wall tiles.

  1. Make sure the wall surface is clean and dry.
  2. Apply adhesive to the back of the panel only — never to the decorative front.
  3. Press firmly into place and check for level.
  4. Allow adhesive to cure fully before cleaning or use.

2. Screw Mount — Maximum Strength

Screw mount installation

Best for very large or heavy panels, outdoor installations, fireplaces, and stone or brick walls. Your panel ships with screws and matching decorative screw caps included.

  1. Hold the panel in position and mark the hole locations.
  2. Drill pilot holes and insert the appropriate wall anchors if needed (drywall, masonry, tile — your local hardware store can advise).
  3. Drive the included screws through the pre-drilled holes in the panel.
  4. Snap the included decorative caps over the screw heads.

3. Hanging Wire — Decorative & Removable

Hanging wire installation

Best for wall art panels, family name signs, address plaques, and any installation where you want the panel to be easily removable.

  1. Install hooks or nails on the wall at the correct spacing.
  2. Hang the panel by its attached wire or D-rings.
  3. Adjust until level.

Multi-Piece Panels

Panels larger than 77"×38" ship as multiple pieces — a central focal piece plus surrounding border or frame pieces. The main design element (tree, animal, medallion, etc.) is always kept intact as a single piece. Seams fall at natural design breaks, never through the main subject.

Installation order: Always install the central piece first, then add the surrounding border or frame pieces around it. This ensures the focal point is perfectly positioned before the borders are locked in.

Key Rules

  • Adhesive mount works in 90% of cases — quick, simple, and effective.
  • For heavy panels or outdoor areas, screw mount is the safest choice.
  • For decorative art pieces, hanging wire is the easiest option.
  • Always apply adhesive to the back of the panel only — never to the front.
  • The wall surface must be clean, dry, and stable before installation.
  • For multi-piece panels: install the central piece first, borders second.
