🏆 Installation Guide — Handcrafted Copper, Brass & Silver Panels

Our panels are real copper, brass, or silver-plated, hand-hammered and wrapped over a rigid lightweight backing.

  • Thickness: 6–8 mm (≈ ¼ in, like a ceramic tile)
  • Weight: ~8–12 kg/m² (≈ 1.5–2.5 lb/ft²) — lighter than stone or ceramic, easy for one person to handle.

🔹 Installation Methods

Our panels are versatile and can be mounted on any surface — drywall, existing tiles, wood, stone, brick, or metal.

1️⃣ Adhesive Mount (Most Popular)

This is how most customers install our panels.

  • The easiest option: simply stick directly over existing tiles, drywall, wood, stone, or metal using construction adhesives like Liquid Nails, silicone, or MS-polymer.
  • If you’re tiling a new wall, our panels can also be installed just like regular wall tiles using thinset or tile adhesive.
  • No special products are needed — the same adhesives you’d use for tile or panel bonding will work for ours.

Steps:

  1. Make sure the wall is clean and dry.
  2. Apply adhesive only on the back of the panel (never on the decorative front).
  3. Press into place and check it’s level.
  4. Let the adhesive cure before cleaning or use.

2️⃣ Screw Mount (Maximum Strength)

Best for very large or heavy panels, outdoor installations, fireplaces, or when mounting to stone/brick walls.

Steps:

  1. Hold the panel in place and mark holes.
  2. Drill anchors if needed (for drywall, stone, tile).
  3. Insert screws through pre-drilled holes.
  4. Cover with the included decorative caps.

3️⃣ Hanging Wire Mount (Decorative & Removable)

Best for wall art, family name signs, address plaques, or mailbox panels.

Steps:

  1. Install hooks or nails on the wall.
  2. Hang the panel by its attached wire or D-rings.
  3. Adjust until level.

  • Panels can be installed by anyone — most customers do it themselves.
  • Adhesive mount works in 90% of cases — quick, simple, effective.
  • For heavy panels or outdoor areas, screw mount is safest.
  • For decorative art pieces, hanging wire is easiest.
  • Always apply adhesive to the back of the panel only.
