Each piece is formed from genuine 24-gauge copper (0.5–0.6 mm thick), wrapped over a rigid 4 mm composite backing, creating a total thickness of about 6 mm (¼ inch) — lightweight yet strong.

The design features two back right angles that fit snugly against your fireplace base, and two rounded front corners for safety and visual softness. The surface is hand-hammered to bring out the natural warmth and luster of copper, then sealed with a clear, heat-resistant lacquer to protect it from oxidation, water, and ember marks.
